Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation required.
• Ability to obtain a CDA credential during employment required.
• Bilingual verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to pass background and drug screenings required.
• TB test and physical exam required.
• FBI and Missouri State fingerprint clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of lesson plans and daily classroom activities in indoor and outdoor learning environments.
• Promote and support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Support the Dual Language Model and classroom learning objectives.
• Collaborate with staff to maintain a positive, engaging learning environment.
• Maintain high-quality learning environments meeting health, safety, licensing and educational standards.
• Foster professional relationships with children, families and staff.
