Cheney Dental Care is seeking a Temporary Dental Assistant with at least one year of experience to join our Back Office team in Cheney, WA. This role supports chairside procedures, sterilization, radiography, medical history updates, and patient education.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate and requires strong clinical skills, a team orientation, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Schedule is Tue–Fri mid-summer, with potential for ongoing hours depending on need.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience.
• X-ray certification or ability to obtain per state requirements.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Take digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral images.
• Record and update patient medical histories and clinical notes accurately.
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
• Maintain operatory cleanliness and organization.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
• Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication.

Compensation: $19.00 - $27.00 / hour

Cheney Dental Care is seeking a skilled and dependable Dental Assistant with at least one year of experience to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is comfortable working chairside, values efficiency, and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a team-oriented environment.

Schedule

7/14-9/14 - Tuesday & Wednesdays: 7am - 4pm, Thursday: 8am - 5pm, Friday: 8am - 3pm

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures
