Job summary

Fourth Floor in New York, NY is seeking a Temporary Denim Designer to join the fashion team. You will update sketches, BOMs, and Centric PLM data, organize wash samples, and support cross-functional development across design, product, and merchandising.

You will maintain wash libraries, prep proto samples, and contribute to design reviews with clear documentation and timely feedback. The role requires denim expertise and hands-on PLM experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design is required.
• 4+ years in apparel design experience.
• Strong denim construction and wash development knowledge.
• Hands-on Centric PLM experience; proficient in Adobe CS and Miro.

Responsibilities

• Update sketches, BOMs, and product information in Centric PLM.
• Organize and prepare wash samples for review and document wash comments.
• Assist in maintaining Miro boards, Visulon boards, and digital assortments.
• Organize and track proto samples throughout development.
• Support seasonal design development with accurate documentation and cross-functional communication.
• Maintain organized product, wash, and sample libraries for design reviews.
• Participate in proto reviews, fit sessions, wash reviews, and milestone meetings and document feedback.
• Ensure feedback is documented, communicated, and actioned across teams.
• Align on key calendar milestones and mitigate potential delays.
• Prepare and present design boards and product reviews to design lead and teams.

Our client, a famous fashion brand based in NYC, is looking for a Temporary Denim Designer to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Update sketches, BOMs, and product information in Centric PLM.
• Organize and prepare wash samples for review, including documenting wash comments and supporting wash development.
• Assist in maintaining and updating Miro boards, Visulon boards, and digital assortment boards.
• Organize and track proto samples throughout the development process.
• Support seasonal design development by ensuring accurate documentation, sample tracking, and cross-functional communication.
• Maintain organized product, wash, and sample libraries to support design reviews and key milestones.
• Participate in proto reviews, fit sessions, wash reviews, and milestone meetings, documenting feedback and managing revisions.
• Participates in development and post-proto meetings to ensure feedback is clearly documented, communicated, and actioned across teams.
• Ensures alignment on key calendar milestones and proactively resolves potential delays.
• Prepares and presents compelling design boards and product reviews to design lead and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design
• 4+ years in Apparel Design related experience
• Strong understanding of denim construction, garment washes, and wash development.
Hands-on experience with Centric PLM (required).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Miro.
