Job Title: Delivery Driver Helper

The Delivery Driver Helper assists Sherwin-Williams Delivery Service (“SWDS”) drivers in making deliveries to customers and stores in a metropolitan area. Responsibilities include riding with the driver, helping unload products, maintaining safety awareness, and other duties as assigned.

This is a temporary 90-day position with work hours typically from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., though hours may vary based on business needs.

The role involves contact with customers, including minors, and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, and valuable items. A criminal history review is required for safety and security reasons.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work without sponsorship
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodations

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• At least 1 year of experience with material handling equipment
• At least 1 year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
• Multilingual abilities, including Spanish

Responsibilities:

• Assist driver with loading and unloading, following safety procedures and traffic laws, and documenting deliveries with signatures and photos via handheld device
• Contact customers or stores prior to delivery or pickup
• Work a varied schedule based on delivery needs
• Spend many hours riding passenger in a truck or van without driving
