Baker Tilly seeks a Seasonal Data Specialist to join the BT Prep Team. This remote, temporary role supports tax data workflows from document intake through preparation, leveraging new AI-assisted tools.

You will handle data with care, think critically, and maintain accuracy while meeting productivity goals. Training is provided and there is potential to return each tax season.

Qualifications

As a Seasonal Data Specialist, you will combine careful data handling, critical thinking, human judgment, and attention to detail to help move tax related information from document intake through various steps leading up to tax return preparation.

This position offers paid training and the possibility to return each tax season. You will learn new tools, adapt as procedures change, and help deliver reliable data to the teams who depend on it.

• Must have participated in a previous BT Prep Tax Season
• High school diploma/GED required
• Minimum 30 hours/week (Monday-Friday, 7 am-7 pm CST). Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new digital and AI-assisted tools quickly
• Data-focused, AI-ready mindset: curious about new tools, comfortable with change, and committed to reviewing automated results critically
• Ability to manage multiple steps of a workflow, shift among task types, and meet productivity and quality expectations
• Ability to work efficiently in a remote team environment and independently as needed
