*Temporary* Customer Service Rep - Remote

Overview:

• Estimated 4-6 month temporary assignment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of healthcare experience.
• Experience with medical insurance in a hospital or physician's office setting, specifically Laboratory registration and insurance verification preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• Must be available for hire within two weeks.

Location and Schedule:

Norfolk, VA or remote (states listed), Day shift, Mon-Fri, 7:00am-6:30pm EST.

Responsibilities:

• Data entry of Laboratory Requisitions, insurance verification, and medical record reconciliation.
• Provide quality service and customer satisfaction through effective communication and education.
• Handle all customer service aspects related to lab orders, including research and resolution.
• High volume data entry within EPIC EMR system.
• Ensure accurate verification, patient and procedure matching, and coding.
• Order entry, communication, guest relations, medical record maintenance, and clerical duties.
