Job description

Waters Edge Lodge is looking for a Temporary Cook!

Pay Rate: $21.52 per hour

The primary functions of the Cook are:

  • Prepare, assemble, and serve meals for our assisted living residents
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks
  • Stock shelves with incoming supplies

We are looking for full-time or part-time working on a rotating schedule of 4 days on, 2 days off (4-on, 2-off means everyone works some weekends and everyone gets some weekends off)

Dinner shift is 10:30am-7:00pm

Breakfast shift is 6:00am-2:30pm

Minimum qualifications are:

  • 21+ years of age
  • Ability to work effectively with all personality types
  • Knowledge of kitchen machines and utensils
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety requirements in food preparation and serving
  • Ability to cook, bake, and prepare food in large quantities
  • Ability to follow menus including those with special diets
  • Ability to follow written and oral directions
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Push/pull 75 pounds up to 100 feet

Employment requirements include:

  • Current COVID-19 vaccination
  • Routine COVID tests
  • Physical
  • TB test
  • Fingerprint clearance from the FBI and Dept of Justice
