The role requires a JD and Washington bar admission, with a minimum of 3 years' practice, strong ethics knowledge, and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

  • Advise partners, attorneys, and the conflicts team on conflicts identification, analysis and resolution.

  • Collaborate with attorneys and leadership on conflicts and risk related to new matter intake and growth opportunities.
  • Manage an active docket of approximately 15 to 30 conflict matters at any given time.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a strong understanding of legal conflicts and risk management to join a collaborative, high-performing team within a leading international firm.

The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice law and located in Washington.

Key Responsibilities

As a Conflicts Attorney, you will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex conflicts issues across the firm's global practice. Responsibilities include:

  • Advising partners, attorneys, and the conflicts team on the identification, analysis, and resolution of potential conflicts of interest
  • Supervising the workflow and professional development of at least two Compliance Analysts
  • Collaborating with attorneys and firm leadership to address conflicts and risk issues related to:
    • New matter intake
    • Practice growth opportunities
  • Managing an active docket of approximately 15 to 30 conflict matters at any given time

Physical Requirements

  • This is a high-volume screen-based role, requiring constant, prolonged computer usage, including but not limited to: reviewing documents, managing visual content, and attending virtual meetings
