Job summary

Colorado Springs School District 11 is seeking a Certified Academic Language Therapist Temp Tutor to provide before or after school reading intervention. This position is hourly and temporary, with no fixed work location.

The starting date is immediate and assignments may vary by school. As a CALT tutor, you will support students’ literacy skills under supervision, adapt to different sites, and communicate effectively with staff.

Qualifications

• Must have CDE initial or Certifed teaching license.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and reliability.
• Prior related experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned duties under supervisor direction.
• Support daily operations of assigned school or department.
• Follow district policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with staff and the public.
