Hoover Learning Group in Louisville is seeking a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) or CALT-in-training to join our growing practice. You will provide individualized dyslexia therapy and structured literacy intervention, building strong relationships with students and families.

This role offers both full-time and part-time options, competitive compensation based on credentials and schedule, and ongoing CALT training support within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) or currently enrolled in an established CALT training program.
• Commitment to evidence-based structured literacy intervention.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and families.
• Flexibility to accommodate student scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized dyslexia therapy and structured literacy intervention, including use of the Take Flight curriculum as appropriate.
• Work consistently with students and monitor their progress.
• Communicate regularly with parents and families.
• Collaborate with Hoover therapists, teachers, and other professionals supporting the student.
• Maintain appropriate session and progress documentation.
• Participate in professional development and Hoover team activities.
• Contribute ideas for improving student outcomes and the Hoover experience.
