Job summary

Community Food Co-op is seeking a Bakery Dishwasher - Temporary to support bakery operations through dishwashing, sanitation, and basic production tasks. This entry point role offers an opportunity to learn bakery processes and cross-train into production while contributing to a cooperative work environment.

The position is part-time and temporary, with weekend and holiday shifts. The Co-op emphasizes respectful teamwork, reliability, and customer service as core values, along with strong safety

Qualifications

• Friendly, in-person customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to learn and follow Co-op Bakery procedures.
• Knowledge of natural and organic foods preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and bakery equipment; clean and sanitize bakery areas, including floors and appliances.
• Package, label, and assemble bakery products for delivery; assist with ingredient preparation.
• Follow safety and cleanliness protocols to meet sanitation standards; prevent cross-contamination.
• Work collaboratively with bakery team to complete daily tasks and support production flow.
