Job description

Trustpoint.one has partnered with a start-up company in their search for a team of contract temporary Attorneys to join their growing organization on a temporary, part-time basis. This remote position is an exciting opportunity for Attorneys with a passion for civil rights. The contract temporary Attorneys will be responsible for duties that include:

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing legal support regarding basic civil rights matters
2. Preparation and review of legal documents
3. Direct engagement, via video conferencing, with clients and members of law enforcement
4. Documentation and reporting following video call engagements

Qualifications:

1. Membership, in good standing, of at least one US State Bar
2. Interest in federal civil rights and constitutional law
3. Strong aptitude for listening and comprehension; good note-taking skills
4. Private, dedicated workspace and laptop with internet and video capabilities
5. Ability to commit to a fixed work schedule for the first 30 days of this assignment
6. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required
7. Ability to work at a computer screen for extended periods

Details:

• This is a part-time role (~20 hours/week) at $25 per hour
• Support shifts on Saturdays and Sundays (Times EST)
• Role is suitable for attorneys seeking to support civil rights advocacy and supplement their private practice
