West Seneca Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for a temporary Assistant School Lunch Manager Substitute.

Position Summary

The West Seneca Central School District is seeking a qualified, organized, and motivated individual to fill a temporary Assistant School Lunch Manager position through the end of the current school year. This position will support the Food Service Director in overseeing daily food service operations, maintaining program records, coordinating substitute coverage, and providing assistance to school kitchens throughout the district.

The ideal candidate will have experience in school food service, basic computer skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with food service staff across multiple school buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Mosaic BOH Management: Oversee and maintain the district's Mosaic Back of House (BOH) system, including entering recipes and nutritional information, updating pricing, managing nutritional data, maintaining production records, and overseeing inventory records.
• Substitute Coordination: Assign daily substitutes to cover staff absences and help ensure appropriate staffing levels across district kitchens.
• Kitchen Support: Assist cooks and kitchen staff at various school buildings with daily operations, troubleshooting, training, and other food service needs as they arise.
• Ordering and Inventory: Place food and supply orders as needed and assist with inventory management.
• Operational Support: Work closely with the Food Service Director to maintain smooth, efficient, and consistent operations throughout the district.
• Additional Duties: Perform other related responsibilities as needed to support the district's food service program.
