Job summary

Catholic Charities in Saint Cloud, MN is seeking a Temporary Assistant Cook to support our Senior Dining and Meals on Wheels programs. The role assists the Head Cook with noon meal prep, service, and daily kitchen operations in a 32-hour work week.

The position lasts up to 3 months to fill in for absences, with pay between $17.23 and $19.82 per hour. Prior cooking experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment are beneficial for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of cooking experience required.
• Knowledge of food service equipment operation is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Food Coordinator with daily kitchen operations and noon meal prep.
• Prepare and package food items for Meals on Wheels routes and Satellite sites.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness and sanitary handling per health regs.
• Support cleaning duties and proper storage of supplies.
