MoMA’s Family Programs team in the Department of Learning and Engagement is hiring four temporary facilitators to welcome and engage families in The Samuel and Ronnie Heyman Family Art Lab. They will work in Art Lab: Imagination, opening October 2026, and this is not an administrative role.

Responsibilities include greeting visitors, guiding age-appropriate activities, tying exploration to MoMA’s collection, assisting with maintenance, and supporting family activations during UNIQLO Family Days.

Competenze

• Working with children and/or families in an informal learning environment and facilitating play.
• Knowledge of modern and contemporary art and artmaking.
• Strong front-facing hospitality and engagement skills.

Mansioni

• Facilitate visitor experiences in Art Lab including: greeting visitors and introducing the main ideas of the space; suggesting age-appropriate activities and helping visitors engage with them; connecting what visitors are doing/exploring in the lab with information about artists and artwork in MoMA’s collection; suggesting ways to continue exploration, both in the Museum galleries and outside world.
