**Job Description**The College of Veterinary Medicine invites applicants to apply for the temporary position of Admissions Assistant, located in the office of Academic and Student Affairs. This position's primary purpose is to support admissions processing by collecting data for the Admissions Committee, evaluating college transcripts, and completing PowerPoint presentations for student admissions data. The incumbent will work 24 hours a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM. **Responsibilities**Collects and prepares student admissions information from WebAdMIT, putting the data in Excel spreadsheets with student admissions information to present to the Admissions Committee. Prepares PowerPoint presentations with student admissions information. Filing, scanning and organizing student information.Communicates daily with prospective students through email and telephone to provide details, application requirements, and admission criteria. Completes applicant pre-requisite checklist and posts on WebAdMIT. Prepares applications for faculty review. Sets up access to and assists faculty with WebAdMIT admissions software.
