Job summary

Pcgrecruit is seeking an Accountant with Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 F&O experience to bridge clerical accounting with enterprise ERP proficiency. You will understand how transactions flow into the general ledger and impact operations within a multi-entity setup.

Key duties include managing AP/AR, posting journals, and supporting month-end close. Advanced Excel skills and experience with EDI are highly valued.

Qualifications

Job description

Seeking a strong Accountant with Microsoft Dynamic AX/Dynamics365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) experience to bridge foundational clerical accounting with enterprise level ERP proficiency.Because D365 is a highly integrated, multi-entity system, this goes beyond simple data entry to understand how the transactional data flows into the general ledger and affects broader business operations.

The core requirements include:

Technical ERP Proficiency (AX/D365 F&O)

• Module Competency: Hands-on experience navigating the core financial modules, specifically Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Cash and Bank Mgmt.
• Journal & Posting Familiarity: Experience working with vendor invoice journals, non-PO invoices, customer payment journals, and post daily sub-ledger transactions.
• Financial Dimensions: Understanding how Financial Dimensions and account segments are applied to transaction for accurate department or job costing.
• Three-Way Matching: Ability to execute or review invoice matching (matching purchase orders, product receipts, and vendor invoices) within the system.

Core Accounting and Clerical Skills

• Transactional Accuracy: Strong capability in processing a high volume of transactions (invoice, expense reports, billing) with zero-tolerance for data entry errors.
• Month-End Support: Assisting accountants with period-close routines by ensuring all weekly/monthly transactional journals are fully posted and cleared.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Active problem-solving skills to research and resolve vendor billing discrepancies, price variances or payment issues within the ERP platform.

Microsoft Ecosystem & Data Management

• Advanced Excel Skills: High proficiency in Excel is critical, frequently using the "Open in Excel" / Excel Add-in feature to mass-upload journals or analyze data exported from D365.
• File Management: Comfort with paperless processing, digital document attachments inside D365 records, and EDI.

Background and Education

• Education: An Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is highly preferred.
• Experience: Typically 3+ years of dedicated accounting experience, with at least 1-2 years utilizing Microsoft Dynamics AX (22012) or D365 F&O.
