Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a diligent custodial worker to perform routine cleaning tasks at a temple for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Eligibility: only members who are endowed and hold a temple recommend may apply for this position, in line with the church's requirements.

The role involves cleaning floors, restrooms, windows, and common areas, maintaining safety and hygiene standards, and reporting maintenance needs to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and waste per policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
