Job summary

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in grounds maintenance, horticulture, gardening, agriculture, landscape design, or related field.
• Knowledge of various plants and fertilizers.
• Ability to follow directions, work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns using hand and power mowers. Maintain landscape plans by planting perennials, shrubs, and trees; trim around walls, beds, and walks.
• Prune and shape shrubs and trees for optimal growth and aesthetic grounds.
• Diagnose pest control issues, apply sprays, and fertilize as required by law.
• Maintain and repair equipment; supervise temporary/volunteer help; water lawn and garden areas.
