Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of 2 years of technical training in skilled trade plus 4 years experience in that trade.
• 2 years experience in physical plant operation including experience in skilled trades-electrical, electronics, plumbing, welding, carpentry, painting, general construction, blueprint reading, mechanics, and floor coverings.
• Shop organization and inventory management skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sees that all heating and air conditioning equipment operate at maximum efficiency.
• Maintains and services water treatment for boilers and domestic water systems.
• Serves and repairs laundry, kitchen, and related equipment to ensure optimum operation.
• Maintains baptismal font filtering and water purification systems per local codes.
• Cares for electrical systems, lighting, and project audio/visual equipment; performs basic system modifications.
