• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of provider schedules, appointment types, and scheduling guidelines.
• Respond to patient questions while maintaining a patient-focused experience.
• Send messages to offices and communicate with receptionists, nurses, clinicians, managers, hospitals, pharmacies, and labs.
• Support administrative tasks and call center duties as assigned.
• Participate in weekly and weekend on-call rotation for PAC.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Template Coordinator/Patient Access Center Representative to join our team in Shelton, CT. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical scheduling and providing exceptional service to our patients. The ideal candidate will be proficient in patient and clinician scheduling and handling a high volume of patient calls with professionalism and care.

This is a full-time position and requires availability Mondays through Friday with a 6:30 a.m. start.

Key Responsibilities

• Template the monthly clinical schedule accurately and efficiently using scheduling software.
• Assist with moving patients and rescheduling appointments promptly when a clinician calls out.
• Input clinician On-call schedules in scheduling software.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of provider schedules, appointment types, practice procedures, and scheduling guidelines to ensure accurate and effective scheduling.
• Respond to patient questions and concerns while maintaining a positive and patient-focused experience.
• Send detailed messages to offices and communicate with receptionists, nurses, clinicians, managers, hospitals, pharmacies, and labs
• Support administrative tasks and call center duties as assigned
• Participate in weekly and weekend on-call rotation for PAC
