Job summary
Beyond SOF is seeking a Tempest Manager to support AFCENT TEMPEST at Shaw AFB, Sumter, SC. You will oversee TEMPEST assessments, ensure countermeasure compliance, and guide staff on TEMPEST policy and procedures. Relocation and temporary housing are available for eligible candidates.
The role requires IAM-II level certification, a Secret Clearance, and TEMPEST course credentials, with travel as needed and on-call availability. Relocation assistance is provided to qualified applicants.
Qualifications
- IAM-II certification or equivalent security credential.
- Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Strong TEMPEST knowledge and related cybersecurity policies.
Responsibilities
- Complete TEMPEST assessments for AFCENT A6-owned CPAs.
- Ensure countermeasure compliance per AFSSIs 7700, 7702 and AFMAN 17-1301.
- Perform annual TEMPEST countermeasure compliance reviews.
- Provide TEMPEST guidance to AFCENT command staff and subordinate offices.
- Draft AFCENT TEMPEST policy and instructions for AFCENT/A6 review.
- Implement and distribute AF TEMPEST policies, ESIMs, TIMs and training info.
- Assist AFCENT personnel with technical countermeasure applications.
- Review assessments for compliance before submission to AF CTTA.
- Conduct training, review procedures, and ensure security program integrity.
- Brief commanders on TEMPEST expectations, results, and recommendations.
