Job summary

CIS Secure Computing is seeking a motivated TEMPEST Engineer (CTP-II) to execute TEMPEST testing and develop final reports. The role requires active Secret clearance and a US citizenship or green card.

The candidate will prepare TEMPEST plans, validate ADRL data, and collaborate with Product Assurance and Configuration Management to ensure TSRD compliance. On-site work at the Ashburn, VA headquarters is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; a combination of training, education, and experience accepted.
• Minimum 5 years in a TEMPEST test laboratory.
• Experience with EMI testing, FCC, VDE preferred.
• Military experience with electrical engineering training including communications, radio, and SIGINT preferred.
• Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts to tests and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare TEMPEST test plans, execute TEMPEST testing, and develop final test reports.
• Submit and maintain documentation to support Certification under the TSRD.
• Prepare and deliver ADRL data: TEMPEST Test Plan, TEMPEST Test Report, Product Description, and other ADRL items.
• Evaluate engineering changes and deviations for TEMPEST impact.
• Work with Product Assurance and Configuration Management for TEMPEST activities.
• Verify calibration and operation of detection system test equipment.
• Coordinate with Quality and Operations for scheduling TEMPEST tests.
