Job summary

J.F. Taylor, Inc. in Great Mills, MD seeks a Certified TEMPEST Professional (CTP-II) to lead TEMPEST testing, write compliance docs, and ensure hardware designs meet NSTISSAM/CNSS TEMPEST standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of TEMPEST/EMI/EMC or RF security experience, strong electronics background, and the ability to work independently or on a focused engineering team. U.S. citizen with TS/SCI eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Active Certified TEMPEST Professional (CTP Level II) certification.
• 3+ years of professional TEMPEST testing, EMI/EMC, or RF security experience.
• Strong background in electronics, electromagnetic theory, and specialized measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute TEMPEST test plans and procedures per NSTISSAM TEMPEST/1-92 and CNSSAM TEMPEST/01-02.
• Develop verification requirements for systems, models, and simulations with customers, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Participate in formal and informal test activities, including verification, functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Analyze test data, generate verification reports, document findings, and support resolution of deficiencies with engineering teams.
• Author classified TEMPEST test reports, control plans, and E3 integration reports.
• Evaluate ECPs, waivers, and deviations for TEMPEST impact; support hardware design reviews.
• Maintain documentation to support CTTS program; provide technical briefings and demonstrations of V&V results.
• Mentor junior TEMPEST trainees toward CTP certifications.
