Job summary

Spinato’s Pizzeria in Tempe, AZ is hiring a Sauté Cook to manage daily prep and execution at the hot station, while assisting other kitchen areas as needed.

You’ll ensure dishes are prepared with care, precision, and pride, maintain high cleanliness standards, and support a collaborative, energetic team environment.

Qualifications

• Current Food Handler Certification is required.
• Ability to lift up to/over 50 lbs.
• Comfortable with exposure to heat, cold, and water.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and work shifts up to 12 hours.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and consistency.
• Prior line cook or sauté experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up stations according to restaurant guidelines.
• Prepare all food items as directed, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Restock all items and maintain a clean, organized work area throughout each shift.
• Adhere to all Spinato’s recipes, specifications, and presentation standards.
• Uphold all safety, sanitation, and organizational practices.
• Assist with cleaning and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and storage areas.
• Follow all proper food handling procedures as outlined by the local health department.
• Support teammates and assist with additional duties as requested by the Kitchen Manager.
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude in a high-energy environment.
