Job summary
Plus One, part of the Optum Workplace Well-being portfolio, is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor for our Tempe, AZ fitness center. You will teach scheduled classes, create engaging formats and playlists, and help drive attendance while accommodating all fitness levels.

Qualifications
- Current nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification or specialty class certificate and CPR/AED certification (no online CPR/AED accepted).
- Prior experience in Group Fitness, Personal Training, corporate health promotion, wellness, etc.
- Must be able to network, engage and interact with clients/guests.
- Professional communication and vocabulary to convey information to clients/guests.
- Ability to engage participants as a public speaker.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Responsibilities
- Teach group fitness classes at a corporate fitness center in Tempe, AZ.
- Develop engaging class formats and motivating playlists.
- Increase class attendance and adapt movements for all fitness levels.
- Provide class coverage at multiple locations.
