Job summary

Plus One, an Optum company, seeks a Group Fitness Instructor to teach at our Seattle fitness center. You will craft engaging class formats and playlists, motivate participants, and tailor movements to all fitness levels.

The role may involve covering multiple locations as needed. Ideal candidates hold current group fitness certification with CPR/AED, have prior fitness industry experience, and communicate professionally to build rapport with clients and guests.

Qualifications

• Certification in group fitness with CPR/AED
• Experience in group fitness, personal training, or wellness
• Strong professional communication and networking skills
• Ability to engage participants as a public speaker
• MS Office proficiency; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Yoga, Pilates, or strength training formats are preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging class formats with motivating playlists
• Drive client results by boosting attendance and offering modifications for all levels
• Occasional class coverage at multiple locations
