Job summary

Assa Abloy Ab is hiring a QA Inspector (Warehouse) for a temporary 1st shift role in Houston, TX. You will ensure products meet visual and dimensional specs, inspect in-process paperwork, and report non-conformances to supervision.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, and 12+ months in manufacturing; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Strong reading of gauges, blueprints, and the ability to instruct operators are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience desirable; basic QA knowledge a plus.
• Must be able to read and interpret measuring devices and blueprints/work instructions.
• Ability to instruct operators on using gages and tools; good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Check parts for visual and dimensional defects in all production departments.
• Check in process inspection paperwork / IPC sheets.
• Communicate discrepancies and write non-conformance reports when needed.
• Report issues to department leads and supervisors.
• Collaborate with Quality, production operators, leads, technicians and supervisors.
