Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Temporary to Permanent Warehouse Material Handler in Plainfield, IN (First Shift: 3pm–11:30pm). The position offers weekly pay, on‑the‑job training, and state‑of‑the‑art equipment. Expect a starting hourly wage of $21.00, increasing to $24.49 after 3 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two years of related warehouse and powered industrial lift experience required.
• Ability to read, do basic mathematics, and follow English safety and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions.
• Recognize and correct potential process errors to avoid customer impact.
• Recognize damaged product and take appropriate action.
• Pull and stage orders accurately; verify pallet counts and locations.
• Prepare receiving, storage and shipping documentation to maintain product accountability.
