Adecco US, Inc. in Romeoville, IL is seeking a Forklift Operator to work on-site in a freezer warehouse, full-time, with shifts 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.

This role supports daily warehouse operations using a stand-up forklift. The position is temporary with potential for permanent hire based on performance. PPE is provided for cold storage work, and reliability on afternoon/evening shifts is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of stand-up forklift experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Strong communication skills to follow instructions and report issues promptly.
• Proven forklift operation skills in cold storage and racking areas.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety compliance and PPE use.
• Demonstrated load handling, stacking, and weight distribution accuracy.
• Reliable attention to detail in inventory movement and placement.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up forklift safely in a freezer warehouse and follow safety rules.
• Move, load, and unload pallets using the stand-up forklift with care to avoid damage.
• Follow safety compliance and PPE usage; adhere to traffic and equipment rules.
• Stack loads in racking areas, maintain stable pallets and clear aisles.
• Assist with inventory by relocating products and recording information when required.
