Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Northridge, CA is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to set up and operate HAAS CNC milling and lathe machines to produce aerospace components that meet engineering specifications. This full-time position (Monday–Friday, 6am–2:30pm) is a temp-to-hire opportunity with hourly pay of $19–$21, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to quality while maintaining a safe, efficient work

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes preferred.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators).
• Mechanical aptitude with good manual dexterity.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate HAAS CNC milling and lathe machines to manufacture precision aerospace components.
• Verify finished parts meet specifications using calipers, micrometers, indicators.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and charts.
• Maintain high production efficiency while meeting quality and reducing scrap.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and in good condition.
• Document completed work and maintain production records accurately.
• Follow FOD prevention policies and quality procedures.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and work collaboratively with the team.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
