Job summary
Allbridge is seeking a Taylor, Michigan-based IT/Network Technician to prepare hardware and software for project installations. You will design VLANs, IP address schemes, and firewall configurations to support secure LAN/WAN networks, and configure switches, Wi‑Fi, and servers.
The role requires independent work, strong problem-solving, and the ability to coordinate with installation teams to meet schedules in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience with computers and operating systems.
- Skilled in configuring and troubleshooting LAN/WAN, switching tech, routers, wireless, TCP/IP, QoS.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues in networking equipment.
- Independent, detail-oriented with strong ownership of tasks.
- Able to provide technical support to teammates and customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare network hardware and software for project installations.
- Design network architectures including VLANs and IP schemes.
- Configure switches, Wi‑Fi, firewalls, and servers to support secure networks.
- Collaborate with installation teams and project management to meet timelines.
- Test and deploy firmware and OS updates, maintaining documentation.
