Job summary

Allbridge, LLC, based in Taylor, Michigan, seeks a network-focused technician to prepare hardware and software for project installations. You will build VLANs, IP schemes, and firewall configurations to support secure networks, while configuring multiple platforms and collaborating with the installation team to meet shipping and installation timelines.

The role involves hands-on work with CCTV, networks, Wi-Fi, voice, servers, and operating systems, with emphasis on documentation and process

Qualifications

Must have 2 years of experience with computers and operating systems.
Must be skilled in configuring and troubleshooting LAN/WAN and digital switching technologies.
Must be well-versed in network operations practice and theory, with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

Prepare network hardware and software for project installations.
Design network architectures including VLANs and IP schemes.
Test and deploy updates to network infrastructure and firmware.
Coordinate with project management and field installation teams to meet specifications.
Label, configure, and stage switches, Wi-Fi, firewalls, and servers.
Maintain professional, respectful interactions with customers and colleagues.
