Job summary

Lake Oswego School District is seeking a Temporary Special Education Assistant II at Hallinan Elementary School. The role is 7 hours per day for 183 days (prorated) and pays $21.77-$29.78 per hour based on experience.

The assistant will support students with special needs, reinforce instructional programs, and help with safety and daily activities under teacher and administrator supervision. Must pass district training in crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Requires strong classroom assistance and student supervision.
• Experience supporting students with special needs and IEP goals is preferred.
• Must be able to follow district policies and confidentiality rules.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision of students and implementation of instructional plans.
• Provide instructional support and adapt activities for individual needs.
• Support health and safety procedures and crisis intervention training as required.
