Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System seeks an experienced RN for a temporary, full-time assignment in Huntsville. The RN will assess patient needs, plan and delegate care, and evaluate responses to care during the shift.

Requirements include an Alabama or multi-state RN license and 2 years in Critical Care or Emergency Care, with orientation periods and potential shift differentials. Internal candidates are ineligible.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama or multi-state RN license.
• Minimum 2 years in Critical Care and/or Emergency Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and priorities for care on assignment.
• Plan, delegate and coordinate nursing care based on patient needs.
• Evaluate patient responses and progress toward expected outcomes; ensure accountability for care delivered.
