Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Porter for a 3-month temporary assignment in Bastrop, Texas. The role involves interacting with guests, staff, and management in a private restaurant, restocking supplies, and performing duties as assigned by kitchen management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Restaurant and porter experience preferred.
• Inventory experience preferred.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with others.
• Food handler card or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operational logistics including delivery receiving, restocking, and internal distribution of supplies.
• Conduct daily checks of water jug stations, soda bibs, and CO₂ systems to maintain uptime and service reliability.
• Fulfill and deliver requisitions accurately, ensuring communication and documentation via internal systems and team channels.
• Assist with weekly inventory counts and ordering cycles to support production and service schedules.
• Verify product quality, expiration, and invoice accuracy during receiving; escalate discrepancies as needed.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently once trained.
• Maintain clean, organized, and compliant storage and staging areas.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with culinary, café, and facilities teams to prevent shortages.
• Support special projects or operational setups as assigned by site leadership.
