Job summary

PMA Companies seeks a Business Analyst to support Production and IS teams in a temporary capacity. You will assist in enhancing requirements, test lines of business, and generate vendor-issue reports, maintaining accuracy and meeting due dates.

The role emphasizes ownership, independent work, and teamwork with strong communication to vendors. The position is hybrid, based in Blue Bell, PA, and involves working with Product and IS teams during a major transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 3-5 years of equivalent work experience required or preferred.
• Proficient with Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of ISO/NCCI rules, rating, and forms for applicable lines of business.
• Working knowledge of rating policies is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Develops design specifications and deliverables for assigned projects.
• Writes detailed specs in collaboration with Product department.
• Gathers, compiles, and summarizes business process, technology, or data information (requirements, specs, test cases, data analysis).
• Applies techniques and tools to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables.
• Assists in preparing documents using Word, Excel, and Access.
• Identifies improvements to enhance functional and technical processes.
• Maintains business data, rules, rates, and forms with Product Management and vendors.
• Demonstrates commitment to the Company's Code of Conduct and Ethics and applies compliance policies.
