Job summary

Maravai LifeSciences seeks a Temporary Process Development & Manufacturing Specialist II to produce research and clinical-grade components, set up and operate lab equipment, and document actions per Good Documentation Practices. This role leads in-lab training and mentoring, with hands-on purification and synthesis work.

You will troubleshoot processes, collect data, and support transfer of improvements to manufacturing. The position is onsite, with an hourly pay of about $38–$40.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in biotech or pharma labs.
• Hands-on lab experience in HPLC purification and/or small molecule synthesis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; SOPs experience.

Responsibilities

• Produces research and clinical grade components and products.
• Prepares for production by reviewing schedules and specifications.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and adheres to SOPs.
• Writes and executes batch records; maintains quality documentation.
• Trains and mentors new team members; supports onboarding of new equipment.
• Transferrs developmental improvements to manufacturing via training.
