Job summary

Northeast Grocery, Inc. is seeking a Front End/Scanning Associate to maintain scanning file integrity and support front-end operations.

You will ensure price accuracy, assist customers, and act as a liaison between the store and the Scanning Department, while handling store computer tasks as directed by Help Desk. The role requires strong communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to work within 5S standards; prior experience with shopping workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Consistently work within company 5S efficiency standards to provide fast, friendly and efficient service to all customers.
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation, according to 5S standards, at all times.
• Possess knowledge of store systems including Gateway, scales, and scanning.
• Assist customers by answering questions and providing help as needed.
• Verify all store signs and shelf tags for price accuracy and visibility.
• Verify completion and accuracy of weekly price changes for all departments.
• Communicate changes or discrepancies to relevant departments as needed.
• Assist with maintaining markdowns and price integrity in all areas.
• Support front-end operations and back-up PAC associates as required.
