The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license. The job is part-time, non-exempt, with a 30-hour weekly schedule and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

  • Phlebotomy program completion or certification is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols for hazardous materials.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Perform blood draws and other laboratory procedures in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Verify patient identities and ensure accurate record-keeping for all procedures.
  • Educate patients on the collection process, including specimen handling and storage.
  • Label and prepare specimens for transport, ensuring integrity.
  • Communicate effectively with lab staff, management, and healthcare professionals.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and comply with OSHA, HIPAA regulations, and lab policies.
  • Participate in ongoing training to maintain phlebotomy and lab skills.

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Total Weekly Hours: 30 hours

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement

Duties And Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

  • Capability to work in environments with potential exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials.
