Ayrshire Independent Living Network (AILN) is seeking a warm, dependable Personal Assistant (Support Worker)/Driver in Irvine on a full-time temporary basis to cover sick leave. The role involves home-based care for a mother, father and son, including oxygen therapy and epilepsy management, across two households.
This position focuses on person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity and safety, in a private home environment. PVG checks and references are required.

Responsibilities

- Assisting with meal planning, preparation of meals, drinks and kitchen organisation.
- Supporting with shopping, household errands and maintaining household supplies.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Supporting attendance at appointments and social activities.
- Being mindful of oxygen equipment and maintaining a safe environment.
- Encouraging independence while providing appropriate support when needed.
- Maintaining confidentiality, dignity and respect at all times.
- Following health and safety guidance within the home environment.

Pay Rate: £14.59 per hour
Hours: 36 hours to be discussed at interview, Temporary (Sick Leave Cover) duration: Expected to cover sick leave for 3- 6 months across 3 services.

Oxygen therapy is required daily and managing epilepsy (training will be provided).
