Job summary

Lactalis USA is hiring a Packager based in Brattleboro, VT. This temporary role covers rotating shifts (6a–6p or 6p–6a) with a 2 on/2 off pattern and every other weekend off. You will move products from the filler line to prep areas, ensuring quality and timely shipments. Training includes pallet jack operation and adherence to food safety standards.

Responsibilities include line packing, teamwork, and pre-shift handoffs while maintaining sanitation and equipment readiness for the next shift.

Qualifications

Experience in food packaging preferred.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to rotate shifts and comply with safety rules.
Must follow food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Work on the assigned line to assist with the packaging of yogurt containers by way of machine and/or hand packing.
Uphold quality, safety, and cleanliness standards within designated areas.
Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient plant operations.
Set up the oncoming shift for a successful run.
Perform any duties necessary to support the team.
Obtain information necessary to perform duties at pre-shift tailgate meetings and by meeting with outgoing employees.
Vigilantly monitor equipment operation for indications of impending problems and possible operational improvements.
Trained to operate a pallet jack.
