Lactalis USA in Brattleboro, VT is hiring a Packager for a temporary position. You will move yogurt products from the line to the prep area, ensuring quality and accurate packaging. The role requires teamwork and a focus on safety in a fast-paced dairy facility.

The shift options are 6:00–18:00 or 18:00–06:00 with a rotating schedule; night shift adds 15%. Training is provided for pallet jack operation, and there is a strong emphasis on cleanliness and food safety.

Lactalis USA, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Packager based in Brattleboro, VT. We're looking for a reliable and meticulous Packager to join our team. In this role, you'll ensure the quality and accuracy of our food products by moving them from the filler line to the prep area for distribution. You'll work as part of a collaborative team, and your ability to multitask and prepare shipments properly will be key to your success. Your responsibilities will include:

• Picking, sorting, and placing materials
• Preparing shipments
• Moving products using manual or motorized equipment

This is a temporary position

• 6a- 6p OR 6p-6a (choose 1)
• Rotating Shift (2 on, 2 off, every other weekend off)
• Hourly Wage: $18.50 (+15% for Night Shift)

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Work on the assigned line to assist with the packaging of yogurt containers by way of machine and/or hand packing.
• Uphold quality, safety, and cleanliness standards within designated areas.
• Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient plant operations.
• Set up the oncoming shift for a successful run.
• Perform any duties necessary to support the team.
• Obtain information necessary to perform duties at pre-shift tailgate meetings and by meeting with outgoing employees.
• Vigilantly monitor equipment operation for indications of impending problems and possible operational improvements.
• Trained to operate a pallet jack. "We will train you if you don't have experience operating pallet jacks".

• Maintain food safety and quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.
• Required to wear food safety/sanitation clothing.
• This position necessitates conformance to personal hygiene regulations.

• Ensure all programs are being upheld and documentation is current.
