Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group is hiring immediately for a temporary COOK position at Northwell 600 - 600 Community Drive, Manhasset, NY 11030. The shift is Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–2:30 pm, with details provided at interview. Qualifications include sanitation, portion control, FIFO, catering and customer service experience.

Pay ranges from $25.00 to $27.00 per hour. Free meals, uniforms and laundering service available at select locations. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Keeps records from area worked during service periods.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
