Job summary

Iris Memory Care of Edmond seeks a dependable housekeeper for a temporary contract starting immediately through mid-November in Edmond, OK. You will help keep resident apartments, bathrooms, and common areas clean, safe, and comfortable, supporting a calm, home-like memory care environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning, laundry, waste disposal, and following infection-control procedures while greeting residents with warmth and patience. 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred; senior living, hospital, or hotel experience is a plus.
• Must be reliable, on time and able to work independently after training.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident apartments, bathrooms and common areas daily.
• Handle resident laundry and linens with care.
• Empty trash, restock supplies and keep hallways tidy and safe.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures and report issues promptly.
• Greet residents warmly and interact with them patiently.
