Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. invites applications for temporary Material Handler positions on 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm) and 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 4:00pm-12:30am) in Tualatin, OR. These temps may convert to full-time staff based on need and performance, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include processing and moving finished goods, loading/unloading, maintaining inventory, and following ISO procedures. Candidates should be comfortable standing long hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and using

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Knowledge of material moving equipment: pallet jacks, dollies; forklifts/reach trucks a plus.
• Good communications skills; simple math; write legibly.
• Work individually and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow established procedures and work under supervisor.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand long periods.
• Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform transactions in the inventory system moving product around within the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials in warehouses and storage facilities.
• Maintain organization and inventory of product within department.
• Understand and implement required procedures (ISO standard documents).
• Oversee and maintain a clean work area in line with 5S standards.
• Report any safety concerns to the Supervisor or Manager.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor, assist in day-to-day department operations as requested.
