Overview

Rapiscan Systems designs, manufactures, and markets security and inspection systems worldwide. Our products are used to inspect baggage, cargo, people, vehicles, and other objects for weapons, explosives, drugs, and contraband. Our devices are found in airports, border crossings, railway stations, seaports, government and military installations, and nuclear facilities.

Warehouse material handlers are responsible for accurate picking and shipping of products, ensuring compliance with Rapiscan Systems standards for productivity, quality, safety, and customer service. This role is based in an industrial warehouse setting and involves a variety of warehousing duties.

Responsibilities

• Inbound: Unload trucks, trailers, containers; assist in receiving shipments; count products; compare with manifests; report shortages, damages, mis-shipments; sign for inbound shipments; move shipments to storage.
• Order Picking: Pick correct products; label, mark, band, wrap, over-pack, and palletize as needed; transport orders to shipping areas.
• Outbound: Verify quantities, labels, and addresses; assign signatures; move products into trailers or containers.
• Equipment: Maintain and operate equipment safely; comply with standards and OSHA requirements.
• Inventory: Keep accurate records; assist with inventories and cycle counts; ensure stock rotation; enter adjustments into ERP system.
• Additional duties: Repack, repair, consolidate damaged goods, operate shrink-wrap, and stack pallets; perform other tasks as assigned; uphold company values and ethics; report quality issues; adapt duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of D365 ERP and inventory control preferred
• Strong communication skills
• OSHA forklift and HAZMAT certification preferred
