Overview

Rapiscan Systems designs, manufactures, and markets security and inspection systems worldwide. Our products are used to inspect baggage, cargo, people, vehicles, and other objects for weapons, explosives, drugs, and other contraband. Our security devices are found in airports, border crossings, railway stations, seaports, government and military installations, and nuclear facilities.

Position Summary

Warehouse material handlers are responsible for accurate picking and shipping of products, ensuring adherence to Rapiscan Systems' standards of productivity, quality, safety, and customer service. This role is based in an industrial warehouse setting and involves a variety of duties within warehousing operations.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, trailers, and containers; assist in receiving freight; check for damages; report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments; sign for inbound shipments as necessary; move shipments to storage locations safely.
• Pick orders accurately, label, mark, band, wrap, over-pack, and palletize as required; transport orders to shipping areas using appropriate equipment.
• Ensure outbound shipments are complete and correct; move products into trailers or containers efficiently.
• Maintain and operate equipment safely and according to standards; keep equipment clean and orderly.
• Maintain accurate inventory records; assist with physical inventories and cycle counts; ensure proper stock rotation; enter inventory adjustments into ERP system.
• Repack or re-box cases per customer instructions; repair and consolidate damaged goods; operate shrink-wrap machines; stack pallets and separate good from damaged pallets.
• Perform other duties as assigned; uphold company values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork; report quality issues for corrective action; adapt duties as business needs change.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of D365 ERP system and inventory control preferred
