Summary

The Manufacturing. Associate II is the intermediate-level manufacturing position; has more experience than a Mfg. Associate 1; is able to work on mid-level complex tasks and understand general manufacturing processes.

Position Duties

Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Locates and positions parts for processing by following blueprints and Standard Work Instructions.
  • Works at the station as a member of a manufacturing group producing one or more specific parts to meet production requirements.
  • Locates and positions parts in specific areas and secures them in place.
  • May sell parts by following the schematic, blueprint, and Standard Work Instructions to produce increasingly more complex parts.
  • Verifies the dimensions or appearance of the part after the process using basic measuring tools and gauges.
  • Ability to dimension aspects with related test fixtures.

Performs related duties, which may be assigned, from one area task to another at area supervisor's requirements.

Qualifications
  • Soldering.
  • Blueprint and/or schematic reading.
  • Hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to verify the process of the part per the final blueprint.
  • Effective communication skills in English with the ability to read, speak, and understand English.
Education / Previous Experience
  • High school education or general education degree (GED),
  • A minimum of one year of manufacturing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work environment and Safety Equipment Requirement

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods and stand to perform work. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must be able to lift, push, pull or move up to fifty (50) pounds or more with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Occasionally required to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility.
  • Safety glasses, shop coat/apron, proper shoes.
  • Occasional exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and fumes.
Pay Compensation Range

$19.00 - $23.00

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
