Description

The prestigious New York Athletic Club, one of the world's premier private clubs founded in 1868 and located in Central Park South, Manhattan, is seeking full-time Main Dining Room Servers. The servers will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in an upscale restaurant setting. Responsibilities include:

  1. Greeting and seating members and guests
  2. Providing menus and making recommendations
  3. Taking food and drink orders
  4. Serving food and drinks
  5. Resetting tables
  6. Monitoring member/guest satisfaction and responding promptly to concerns or complaints
  7. Maintaining a clean and organized station
  8. Having complete knowledge of menu items and specials
  9. Working well with team members, including managers, hosts, bartenders, bussers, and kitchen staff
Requirements
  • Availability to work holidays and special events
  • Knowledge of POS systems
  • Minimum of 3-4 years experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments
  • Strong attention to detail and work ethic
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures
  • Flexible work schedule

Hourly rate plus gratuities.
